More Movies! Like I do Anything Else
Sunday, August 08, 2010

Well, long time no write. I've been working on my book a lot lately and, of course, finding new music. Some good stuff!! But mostly I've been seeing movies! Here's the updates:

Inception: Sooo good. Becky and I saw this on a whim one Sunday night. I didn't find it that hard to follow; granted, some of the scenes flipped fast and the terminology was annoying, but I wasn't 'confused' at the end at all. Best all-around entertainment I've seen in a looong time.

Toy Story 3: I never liked the Toy Story movies when they came out, but they were on TV lately and I gained a new respect for the second one. The third was great. I didn't cry, but it was so well done. I shall forever remember the tortilla scene as one of the funniest film moments ever. ;)

Fantastic Mr. Fox: Just saw this last night with Libby and Becky. It was SOOO good. Hilarious, fast-paced, and extremely entertaining. I can't believe I missed out on this for so long! Willem Dafoe makes an appearance as a psychotic dancing rat, and the scene at the end with the wolf? Priceless.

Libby and Corey flew out to Seattle over the weekend and brought back some Volturri coffee from Forks for us, and some pepper raspberry jelly, fudge, and oolong tea. The jelly sounds nasty, but is actually super delicious!

I also left my sunglasses at Steph & Co.'s apartment, bought the exact pair again, then promptly dropped them on cement and scratched the motherflippin' hell out of the them. ARGH!!!
