It's been a while...I've been glued to my TV screen as Final Fantasy 13 descended into my hands via a heavenly beam last Friday night. Okay, I'm exaggerating; Gabriel just handed it to me himself.

FF13 rocks my socks. Finally they got everything right; awesome story, fun battle system, realistic animation, and for once, the characters are mouthing English words in EVERY scene. Seriously, you just wander around and the characters nonstop make comments, and if you look at them, they're actually mouthing what they're saying. Flippin' sweet biscuits!

Christie doesn't start her sales crap until the week after next, so this week and next week, our hours are screwed up because Gary insisted we both get cut. Gah!!! So I got a half day on Thursday...but had to stay until 5 today, and next week too. Seriously, were they that greedy that they didn't want to pay her for 2 more weeks of normal pay? What the hell.

Music...nothing impressive lately. Gorillaz released Plastic Beach, which was okay (the video for "Stylo" was pretty funny - watch for Bruce Willis to make an appearance!). Libby turned me on to Friendly Fires so here's their funkalicious video to "Skeleton Boy".
