Another Funeral...Stanley Horne
Wednesday, February 03, 2010

Just got back from my Uncle Stanley's funeral. He died on Sunday and we all went to the service tonight. Except my dad, of course. -_- I didn't think I'd cry but of course they picked that sentimental song "Daddy's Hands" and I couldn't hold it in. He's been in poor health for a while but I remember he used to take walks with me up to the hawk tree, here on the farm. I'm definitely going to miss him.

Over this weekend, my aunt and cousin Hannah stopped in. It was also my mom's 51st birthday on Friday. She got a few Blu Ray DVDs for her new player and that was about it. Hannah came over to Libby and Corey's and we all watched Gamer. She apologized beforehand in case the move sucked hardcore, which it did. Seriously, I saw enough breasts in that movie to last me a lifetime. And Milo Ventimiglia was in it as a character named "Rick Rpe". Yeah. Use your imagination. Then she and I stayed over at Becky's and went to the mall the following day with Becky. That night we met up with my aunt and mom and had dinner at Chili's. Hannah said she'd come back to see Alice in Wonderland with us when it comes out next month, so we'll see.

Tomorrow is Jesse's 3rd birthday and the party is at 5. We didn't really get him much because Aner didn't want us to. I guess they're overwhelmed with toys.

Ugh, got my bill for the biopsy. $356. Yikes. All of it will have to come out of my savings. Yippee! The one good thing is that (hope I'm not jinxing it) my skin looks a lot better. The color is back to normal though the texture is still off. I've probably spent, seriously, thousands of dollars in the past years on useless remedies. Hopefully this one works!

The crew just called me....looks like I will be spending the night in Milwaukee on Friday. My first time seeing them in months so this should be exciting!
