Not much going on as usual, except tonight our cousin Billy stopped by. It was the first time we'd seen him since our grandpa's funeral 5 years ago (that long already, really!?). He had lots of pictures of animals he's killed since he's a big hunter, and a bunch from his trip to Africa.

He showed us one of a GIANT spider on a wall. Apparently they were all over in the room they stayed in, so he and his friend pulled the beds away from the wall...to find hordes of mice living under them. They left for a while and when they returned all the mice were gone. When they asked their host, the guy said, "Oh that's because the puff adders eat them all." So basically they were trapped in a room of nightmares during their hunting trip (giant spiders, mice, and poisonous snakes? Holy shit!).

He also told a story I've never heard (or at least didn't remember), about the "golden shower". Billy was always a total bully to my sisters and our other cousins. So one day all my sisters and Billy's sister, Christine, peed in a bucket (don't ask) and got Billy to chase them up into a tree house in the yard. When he got to the top of the ladder and was banging on the board over the entrance, they whipped it back and dumped the piss all over him. He insists Aner was the ringleader behind it but she said it was Christine (much more likely). Lmfao!!!

So that was my excitement for the week. Currently chilling out with Kent's new album and hoping to hear the Robbie Williams album I downloaded today, too. I think I might crash early though (no nap today, wah!) and snuggle up with the Morganville Vampire book I'm currently on. Best. Series. Ever. Oh Myrnin, if Rachel Caine kills him off I'll hurl her off a cliff myself.
