Doing the usual - sifting through all the garbage I've downloaded to find one good song. Lots of Hindi stuff, Japanese pop, and indie rock.
Al's Run was Saturday and I had to get up at the ass crack of dawn to get ready. Becky and I went with Joe's family and we walked along the lakefront most of the way. It was uneventful, but we did see this runner with a serious spare tire that made it look like he had a sack of pudding wrapped around his waist. The best part is the guy was skinny, ick! It took us OVER AN HOUR to get out of the parking lot. Argh!!! Next year, we're parking on the street and fucking walking. >_>
Bought a bunch of movies on Amazon for pretty cheap. Hindi movie
Billu Barber,
Dracula (with crazy Gary Oldman), Hocus Pocus (huzzah!),
Coraline, and
Inkheart. I've never seen the last two but I've been wanting to, and the price was too good to pass up.
I plan on getting a Wii and Wii fit this week, hopefully Libby will split it with me like the TV. Mom will use it too and I'm putting on a ton of f-ing weight and now that it's getting colder, I can't go for 20 walks a day. Holy shit, a Marie Callender pot pie has 1020 fucking calories!!! Seriously, what is it made of, pure cow fat?!! But it's soooooo delicious...*drool*
I put the Morganville vampire series on hold to read The Sundered series and it is fucking loooooong. Actually it's only 4 books but I'm still on #2 and it feels like I've been reading it for a freaking year. It's sort of a dark fantasy/romance. I love it, but
damn, even my emo capacity has its limits.
