Aner's Birthday was today and she turned 31. So old!! ;) They hung out all day as usual, and I took a nap and played video games. As usual.

I finished the first book in the Morganville Vampires series, Glass Houses, and started #2, Dead Girls' Dance. The four house occupants pair off in the first book so I'm eager to see their relationships move forward! Though I was really surprised when the main character ended up with the normal guy, not the ghost guy. Wtf? The author has a list of songs she listened to while writing it and I've been listening to some of the songs. She had some FOB and Death Cab for Cutie in there too. I went to Barnes & Noble and bought the entire series (6 books so far), Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side, and Graceling. It's funny, because I started out reading adult fantasy fiction and I've moved on to...young adult romance. I think I'm going backwards here.

Up north this weekend for apple picking with my cousins and aunt, huzzah! My mom wanted to drive through Amish country so I convinced her to stop at Pies are Square, a place I ate at with Dean's family when we went camping. Sweet biscuits!
