Grandma's House 2: Campfire Boogaloo
Tuesday, August 18, 2009

This weekend was great! Mom, Becky and I drove up to Grandma's again and for some reason Libby and Corey insisted on driving up Saturday night to leave early Sunday morning. Wtf?

Saturday morning I insisted we go to Rochester Foods in Winona. They have tons of organic/homemade/gourmet stuff there and the price isn't bad at all! We stocked up on coconut milk and tea. Yay! Then we went out to eat at the Wingdam Saturday night with Aunt Janet, Rachel, Bryce, and Grandma. Libby and Corey weren't there yet...then we had a campfire and sat around talking for a while. Next day we went out for breakfast at Pier 4, a little shanty thing with great food next to the train tracks. A train went by during our meal and then we went on the bridge that goes over the tracks. Another train went by and blasted the horn right under us. Bryce was scared and Rachel had to pick him up, so cute! There was also this fat little girl/boy thing up on Buena Vista (a park on top of a bluff that overlooks the river and countryside, an awesome view!!)

On the way back we stopped at the deer park in the Dells. They have ring tailed lemurs there omg! I saw them last time but still, I thought it was really random. Anywho it was fun feeding the deer but lots of them have antlers now, so it was kinda scary when 10 of them surrounded you with those prongs in your face. Yikes! One kept following Becky the whole time and we couldn't shake it until we got into a big group of other deer. It was funny!

Downloading music, what a surprise. FLOW has a new album called NUTS BANG!! which almost killed me when I saw it. L M F A O.
