Snake Wrestlin', Fireworks, and Cookin' Out

Lots of stuff going on. Fun stuff though so it's okay. ;)

Saturday I didn't do much, but we have a couple snakes that are living in our barnyard so I went out there and caught one and Libby and Becky took some pictures. It was pretty funny; I was holding it by the head and it starts moving it around, trying to reach my hand, and Libby yells "It's going to bite you!!!" so I freaked out and dropped it. Whoops! It did pee on me though so I didn't feel too bad. Yuck...

Saturday night Libby, Becky, Miranda (Libby's friend from work) and I walked over from Becky's place to see the fireworks at the Sussex park. Libby brought a big water bottle with liquor in it and was freaking out about everything, and thought the fireworks on the ground were an accident. They were playing some instrumental music to go with the show and Libby's like, "Oh, this is the good part! Dun-da-dundundun-da-dadun!!" We were also sitting on some guy's wallet and Libby starts yelling, "IS THERE A ZACHERY RUEMER AROUND HERE!?!???" Jeez!!! Becky had 2 beers in her bottle and when we got back she was bouncing off the walls, too. Those people!

Today we had a cookout and all I did was read my book, then walk around the farm with Red and Doochie. Red disappeared when I was up by the hawk tree and I found her with her face in a skunk hole, that stupid dog! I had to drag her away and keep an eye on her the whole way because she kept trying to double back when I wasn't looking. Thinks she's so clever....

Ive been in a lovey-dovey kind of mood lately so I'm reading romantic stuff like crazy. I bought 5 books and all are fantasy-romance. Why does fantasy have to be so much better than reality? Though if it wasn't, I guess it wouldn't be fantasy....

I bought some books off Amazon and some at Barnes & Noble and I just finished the first one, Wildwood Dancing (the book I was reading all day today). It was an awesome fairytale complete with fairies, an enchanted frog, vampires, and an evil douchebag villain. It had a good ending so of course I liked it. Yay!

Now I've moved on to #2, Keturah and Lord Death. It's already awesome. Keturah gets lost in the woods and death comes to take her, but she tricks him into letting her live to find her true love. Pretty sure she's going to end up with Death though...at least I hope so, he is smoking hot. ;) But there is a floofy blond guy, my favorite!! But his name is John, ew. Dang...
