Crazy day today!!!

So Libby has to work next weekend and couldn't make it for the special food week. She didn't work this Sunday however...so we all ended up going today! We left around 11 and got back around 6.

Mitsuwa was awesome. A lot smaller than I expected, but still awesome. I bought a ton of random food and snacks (including frozen takoyaki, which I made tonight, and was really good!!), ate some udon, ate half a freaking eel, bought a cool tea cup with the "Great Wave off the Kanagawa Coast" painting on it, had Libby buy me a Fools Mate magazine with a ton of Jrock guys I know in it (including a bunch of pages of Gackt's oh-so-beautiful face), had a matcha spinner (green tea powder with milk and ice cream), a milk tea, a ton of sweets, and for the first time in my life...I felt like a minority. It was so crazy, I could count the number of white people there on one hand, plus one or two black or Mexican people. I mean, I expected it to be mostly Asian people, but it was like 99.9% Asian people.

And the only two hot Asian guys there were both working at ReLeaf, the green tea ice cream place. They were tall too, sooo smexy!! XD

I also recognized a bunch of songs they were playing there, including "Destiny's War" by saori@destiny and "Koko ni Iru Yo" by Soulja. Whenever Becky and I go to Fujiyama's I usually recognize a couple songs they play there, too.

All in all it was fun. Becky really wanted to buy some of the fish and squid they had there (and HOLY CRAP was it cheap!!!! I was like, "Am I reading the price wrong?!!"). She wants us to go back and bring a cooler next time so we can buy some and bring it home! Hopefully we remember!

The rest of this week...was okay. I bought a new iPod nano (where am I getting this money?) and I'm going to give Becky my old nano, and she's going to give her old nano to Libby/Mom. Everyone's happy! I can't wait until it comes this week! ^_^

"Tonight so beautiful in despair
You, the sunset, and the roar of the sea
Burning passion sears my heart
Hold me, let’s dance—won’t you kiss me and say yes?
I don’t suppose we’ll ever meet again
Under this evening sun" -"Coyote", BUCK-TICK
