Work post!! This week isn’t as bad as I thought (knock on wood), although yesterday our copy machine broke and we had a big fiasco calling our maintenance people to fix it. Anywho, we ended up having some independent guy come in so now we have a new repair guy.

Busy weekend! Watched Becky’s apartment, hung out with Amber and DeAnn on Sunday for a bit (and I left my food at Amber’s, freaking a!), had a cookout on Sunday, then cooked out Monday and chilled that night. Libby and I started Samurai Champloo and she claims she liked it but I’m not so sure...and Amber borrowed a few of my shows but one of them Becky wanted to watch so I might have to ask for that back right away.

Becky and I went to the store yesterday and I got a ton of yummy stuff. I got a bunch of crap to make curry...only to get home and see Mom had already made some! My lunch today is chicken curry and flatbread with sugared strawberries for dessert. Yum!

Then last night Libby and I watched all the songs in Om Shanti Om, squealing and giggling the whole time. But jeez, Shah Rukh Khan with his shirt off... double yum!!!!

I love days like today. I love the smell of rain. I like the consistent cloud cover. I woke up to the sound of the rain and a cool breeze floating through my window...so nice!!

Poor Red, she ran out when Mom left for work and no one was up to let her back in so she was out in the rain for half an hour before I got up! It’s Mom’s fault, I tell her not to let Red out when I’m not up! She was soaked so I had to rub her down with a towel. Poor little smoosh...

There’s a killdeer outside the building and it just keeps going past the windows (the windows go all the way to the ground) and peeping through the glass. It’s kinda funny, it’s been out there for hours. I wonder what it’s doing?

Kinda bored (if you couldn’t tell). Richard and Gary are out for a lunch meeting until 2 so I’m trying not to get all my work done now so I can be busy when they get back...

My music search is coming to a halt...Melody Club came out with a new CD that was kinda lame, and the Electric Six album I’ve been searching for forever was pretty disappointing as well. The only song I liked on it was one I already have! Argh! I guess I'll have to go back to Japanese stuff for a while. Indie bands are hit or miss but I like pretty much all Jpop.
