Post From Work!
Friday, January 30, 2009

Work today was pretty sweet, Scott, Richard, and Gary were all gone so I pretty much surfed the web all day. Yay! I found a ton of stuff I'm going to look into on indie/electro/synth "best of 2008" lists. I'll probably only have Sunday to look for them though, since I have an appoinment tonight at Sam's since I'm down to my last pair of contacts and I'm hanging out with Becky the rest of the weekend.

I also bought 3 cds on Ebay from the same dude in Thailand, all GOING UNDER GROUND. I absolutely LOVE them and I cannot find their stuff anywhere!!! Seriously, it's hard to find stuff from American indie bands, but imagine trying to find something from a foreign indie band. Practically impossible!! They sing melodic indie-pop/rock music that just really hits me for some reason. A lot of their songs are uplifting, but with a hint of sadness... Bittersweet, maybe that's the word I'm looking for. They're just so good!
