A whole flock of homing pigeons flew over today and tonight there was one sitting on our roof. Afraid that it was lost in the dark, my parents got a ladder and caught it and put in the shed for the night and are going to let it out tomorrow morning. Weird, huh?

I've been watching tons of Japanese music videos on YouTube. I watched one for Gazette called "Taion"(body temperature) and found the horrible story behind it. Apparently in 1988 a group of 16-17 year old boys kidnapped a second year high school girl named Junko Furuta and held her prisoner for 44 days at one of their houses, doing horrible things to her. Finally they beat her with an iron bar before lighting her on fire, from which she died of shock the same day. Then they hid her body in a 55 gallon drum filled with cement. One of the boys was in the Yakuza and bragged about it, saying at least 100 people knew she was being kept there but were too afraid to do anything. Note that she was held at one of the boys' houses where his parents were obviously at home during at least some of this.

In other news, I bought some Japanese tea online and Kamichu! box set. Yeah.

And here's a cute Jpop video for the boy band NewS called "Weeeek". You know how much I love hot guys in nice clothes ;) Plus they're freaking adorable and there's a WHOLE GROUP OF THEM!!! I just want to climb into a pile of them, sooooo awesome. XD
