Saw
Tropic Thunder last night. It was actually pretty funny. I hate Jack Black but he made me laugh more than once. The best part was Robert Downey Jr. as a blond Australian playing an American black man. Freaking hilarious.
The one thing that annoyed me was that the beginning of the movie starts with a fake movie commercial for a soda called Booty Sweat and a candy bar called Bust-a-Nut, and then 3 fake previews for the main "actors" in the movie. No one in the theater realized the trailers were fake, or at least didn't care since they kept talking and playing with their phones. So retarded! Do you really think there's a soda called "Booty Sweat" being pimped by a guy named Alpa Chino yelling "pussy"? Come on people!
So over all it was good. Lots of cameos, like Tom Cruise (good lord, I can't believe everyone isn't talking about this), Lance Bass, Nick Nolte, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, etc. Lots of offensive stuff, but luckily no naked chicks.
Back to Cracked. I think I've read every interesting thing on there. I was reading an old article about the last Harry Potter book coming out. Here's an excerpt from #5, whether or not anyone will get some. ;)
"J.K. Rowling has kept things fairly tame thus far, with almost all of the kissing and canoodling between our heroes and heroines occurring away from the reader's eyes. The next inevitable step will similarly be "off-camera" and only broadly hinted at. The only hint will be a scene where Ron is surprised one morning by the sight of Harry strolling out of his sister's bedroom wearing only a robe wrapped around his midsection and a knowing look.
'Today, Ron,' Harry will say, with the newfound air of a man who has seen and done impossibly great things
, 'is a good day. You, who have been my friend through so much, are now my brother. And your sister is now a woman. Come, let us drink.'" -"6 Questions the Last Harry Potter Book had Better F#@king Answer",
