Went to see
The Dark Knight with Becky last night. We were supposed to go to the 7:45 show but when we got there, we saw that there was a 9:30 showing on the Ultra Screen. Of course I made us go out to eat so we could see the Ultra one! Huzzah! I felt bad but she was a good sport about it so we went to Fujiyama's and I paid.
We got baby octopus as an appetizer and it was the one thing I just couldn't eat. I had one and it was good, but the combination of the texture and the fact that
it has eyes just killed it for me. The waiter said it was his favorite and Becky snarfed them down so I must be missing out. Anywho, I got the American roll which is basically a typical eel roll with a tempura shrimp sticking out of it. Soooooooo good. :)
The movie was completely bitchin' again. No rude people this time, but everyone was laughing at even the least funny parts. And the dude next to me would repeat all the Joker's funny lines right after he said them, loudly. Ooookay.
Oooh I'm listening to the soundtrack right now and "Like a Dog Chasing Cars" is an amazing song. It starts out like regular background music until it gets to about 1:50, then it gets really intense. It builds up and up in this awesome "hero races to fight villain in climactic battle" way. Jeez, it gives me the chills it's so awesome.
Computer's being a bastard. Ugh.
