Well, it's officially been...a certain amount of days that Sara's sugar intake has been cut to about 5% of what it was. *cries* And it doesn't help that Libby bought a huge mixed bag of candy and left it on the table. Mmm...Dove chocolates with caramel...No! Must resist!!
Had a fun weekend at Becky's and even Libby came over and played some Wii with us. Yay! It sucked on Saturday though because L was murdered on
Death Note. NOOOOOO!! *cries harder* The worst part was that the last thing he sees as he's dying from a heart attack is Light's evil grinning face, right after he finally accepted him as a friend (he'd been suspicious that Light was Kira the entire time). THE BASTARD!!! >:(
Other than that...my weekend was uneventful, though I have decided for various reasons to start watching
Bleach. I'm going to start at the beginning and decide if I'm going to follow English or Subtitle...watching the first 50 in English and then switching just doesn't cut it for me. -_-
Oh,
Death Note...I don't think I can watch it anymore, it pisses me off so much. 90% of the people who watched/read it agree that the plot's quality plummets after L's death. WHY!?!
Not really a quote today, but a whole song's lyrics. Such a great song and the words create such a cool mental image, sweetness!
The Back Horn -
Wana (Trap)
Despair is a sweet trap, a door that shuts you inSince the heart is a battlefield, it spares no oneWith their clockwork hearts being manipulated by fate,The tin soldiers begin the slaughterAre lives playthings too, in this crumbling fairy tale kingdom? Please, don't ever forget the pain that runs deep in your heartDesire is a poisoned apple. What is it that you have obtained? What are we going to pass on to the children of tomorrow? The rocking cradle that knows not love, in this sleeping forest as it burns to the ground,You are so distant that even the joy of being alive with you is disappearingBelieve in kindness and forgive everythingShare with others, understand each other, so that we may learn to loveAre lives playthings too, in this crumbling fairy tale kingdom? Please, don't ever forget the pain that runs deep in your heartThe rocking cradle that knows not love, why were we born into this world? In faraway lands, the prayer-like lullaby resoundsBelieve in kindness and forgive everythingShare with others, understand each other, so that we may learn to love"
Okay, actually, I do have a quote that's freaking hilarious. It's from SNL's weekend update from a few years ago. Hilar!
"A Supreme Court in Georgia ruled that high school biology teachers were permitted to continue using the term 'evolution' when teaching their classes. However as a compromise, they must now refer to dinosaurs as 'jesus horses'." -Weekend Update
