English Breakfast with Your English Breakfast?
Tuesday, April 08, 2008

I just made myself the most amazing English breakfast ever!! I had crispy bacon with eggs from our chickens, homemade toasted bread with butter and grape jelly, and English Breakfast tea sweetened with honey and milk. Yum!! I did burn half my arm hairs off somehow, but it was worth it!

Went for a walk yesterday with Red down into the marsh. Dang, it was freaking cold! No, no, it was frigid. Yeah. I was wearing my Harken flip-flops because I'm retarded. Oh well! The sun setting on the marsh was amazing (what little sunlight there was) and I got to hear all the red-winged blackbirds singing (do they sing?). I love that sound! I think I wrote about that before, but that's my favorite sound of summer. OH! And I went for other walks a few days ago and I could hear the frogs croaking in the swamp, too. Wtf?? Isn't it a little early for that?

Think I'll go play KH2 some more today. For some reason I can't remember any of this game, but I have the first one completely memorized. ???

Ugh...I'm on another sad song binge. It's that Leona Lewis "Bleeding Love" song what did it! There's just something beautiful about a tragedy that isn't there in a happy ending. Where your heart aches, that kind of sadness. So good!! I love that feeling, even if it makes me depressed. The best are songs that sound sad and hopeful at the same time, like Alicia Keys' "No One". Makes me cry because it's like bawling your eyes out, then having someone wipe away your tears. Such a great feeling!! Or in Buckcherry's "Sorry" after the line "it's never too late to make things right" goes into the final chorus...oh, my heart just breaks every time I hear it. Other songs like that...

Chaba - Parade
Blue October - Congratulations

Standing in the rain waiting for the rainbow...can't remember where I heard that but it was a line from some Japanese song. Couldn't have said it better myself. Enjoy the emo feeling because the rainbow is soon to follow...oh yeah, love the depression!

"Caught in the rain, flowing away with my memories
If I could have forgotten you
Caught in the rain, the sidewalk I continue to walk on
Becomes soaked with the color of tears" -"Ame ni Nurete (Caught in the Rain)", Zard
