To the Domes!
Saturday, February 09, 2008

Well, I've been volunteered for another trip. This time to the Domes on Thursday. Aner wants to take Jesse there and she has to go down there for a hospital check up anyways, and she wants me to come along. It'll probably be pretty fun so I'm not complaining. :)

Went over to Aner's last night because Joe is up north all weekend. We watched Borat and Dilwale Dulhania le Jayenge (hey, didn't have to look that up!), both of which were hilarious for different reasons. I'll never watch the first one again, but it was an hour and a half of mild entertainment. The Hindi movie...jeez, I forgot how awesome it was! Shah Rukh Khan in his younger years as a playboy...not to mention the ridiculous fight scene at the end in slow motion where you can clearly see that he's punching the air two feet from the guy's head. Ha!

Oooh got Tsubasa volume 16 in the mail yesterday so of course I had to quick read it!! The problem with reading manga is that each book comes out every 3-4 months, so if there are important details in each volume you forget 90% of them by the time the next one comes out. Man, this one was out of control! The main character turned evil and ate the eye of another character to get his power (!), then his twin/other half appeared and is now good (?), the original good character left by himself (!?) and Sara is wildly flipping through the older volumes at this point trying to make sense of it all. I still have no clue. *Sigh* Guess I'll have to reread all of them in the next week or so.
