Well, I took an hour and a half out of my life and I watched Akira! There's a reason it's the most famous anime movie. Jeez, they must have spent a freaking year animating that beast!
It was a semi-sad story of Neo-Tokyo in the future and a teenager named Tetsuo who accidentally gets psychic powers. He starts hallucinating and loses control of his powers. Then to find "Akira" he murders hundreds of people, in very gruesome ways, I might add. The best part were his hallucinations. At one part he falls to the pavement and imagines that it opens up beneath him and he falls through it, where all of his guts come spilling out. He's really fine, but they show him trying to shove them back in O.O I thought it was really sad because it comes out at the end that he was always bullied and now he's got this crazy power that he can't even control, and his girlfriend comes to find him because she's worried and he ends up accidentally killing her. :(
Then I went back to reading High School Debut online. That manga is so embarrassing!!! One chapter I seriously had to cover my eyes 16 times and prepare myself to keep reading! I haven't been this addicted since Fruits Basket!
After that I watched some more AzuDaioh. What a busy and interesting life I lead!
Now I'm making that weird bread thing again, this time without the mincemeat crap in it. I'm using apples instead so hopefully it turns out better.
