Big Birthday Blowout Bash
Sunday, February 17, 2008

While I'm waiting for my Ouran episodes to load, I'll write about the rest of last week.

Had my friend birthday party at Steph's because she was nice enough to host it, with cake and old school movies and everything! We watched the Magic School Bus (holy crap, was that old) and then Dean showed up with Pretty in Pink. I didn't like it, but it was entertaining (does that even make sense?). Duckie...what to say, what to say. I was hoping she wouldn't end up with Asshole but meh, she did. But damn, were they all freaking ugly!! Just like real people!

So then after I got home around 3 (barely missing the Mormon Mobile on my way out), I was totally freaking awake and had to force myself to sleep. Then I got up at like 7. Wtf?!?!

Then I went over to Becky's, where I had Birthday part 3! She ordered 5 manga books for me and got sushi from the new(er) Pick n' Save. I got Heaven!! 1, Ouran High School Host Club 1&2, High School Debut 1, and MeruPuri 4. Now I have 2 complete manga series, and about 50 incomplete ones! Yay! Wait, that sucks...

We also watched that Shah Rukh Khan movie called Paheli, which was Libby's gift. Okay, weirdest movie ever.

Long time ago in India, two people have an arranged marriage. On the wedding night, the guy is adding up a bill (?) and then decides to leave the next day to seek his fortune for 5 years. Meanwhile, a wandering spirit falls in love with his wife and takes on the husband's form. But, he actually tells her right away who he is, and she's fine with it because he's all smooth and cool??!!? So while the real son is away, the fake-but-better son has won over his whole family and then his wife has a freaking baby! Then the real son comes back, and no one believes him, thinking he's the imposter. Anywho, they find out the truth, trick the spirit, the real husband comes back...but then you find out that the spirit took over his body! Wtf!!? And that's how it ends, with the wife living with the spirit in the husband's body. Uh....okay????
