Went to Kohl's with mom and Aner today....argh, it's so annoying trying to figure out something to get for Joe!!! Every time Aner would think of something, she'd turn around and say "Oh, but he has one/too many/doesn't need one anymore/etc." So because of this, Joe is getting a freaking bag of trail mix.
Christmas is next week! HUZZAH!!! Even though I'm only getting 2 crappy presents on Christmas morning, I don't even care! I LOVE DECEMBER!!! *dies of over excitement*
Holy crap, I totally got sucked into Death Note, a psychological drama/detective anime about a guy who finds a notebook called a "death note", and anyone whose name is written in it will die. It's actually really creepy how Light (the main dude) thinks he's saving the world by using the note and killing evil criminals, but as he becomes more paranoid that he'll be found out, he murders anyone who could be a threat to him. So in essence, he becomes what he hates, someone who kills "good" people...I usually hate shows like this but the atmosphere is just so perfect, you can't ignore how well done this show is. Plus, the main character is the bad guy, so it's an unusual twist on things. :)
Of course as soon as I started watching it and picked out a favorite character, I knew he'd die. L, the guy on the bottom left, dies half way through the series. Damn you, writers!!!
Weird fact about that show...in Belgium, a dead body was found with a note next to it that said "I am Kira" (Light's pseudonym) in Japanese. Uh...someone's a little too obsessed with this story. O.O
