Just got back from the Humane Society with Aner. We went there looking for her cat, but it wasn't there (though both of us didn't think it would be there anyways). I HATE going there; all the animals are sooo incredibly sad looking. I know it's a total stupid chick thing to say, but I almost cried looking at the poor ugly cats in the stray room, knowing half of them are just going to be killed.
That's it, as soon as I move out I'm going to adopt 2 cats, if they don't make it ridiculously hard for me to get one. I just hate seeing all the ones that say "No longer wanted". F-ing people, what the hell does that mean??? It better mean they couldn't take care of it, the bastards!!
Picked names at my house for Christmas, but it's a little unfair since we're doing couples and I'm the only single person. >:( It's my parents and then my sisters and their boyfriends/husband. Argh! But it's okay since we put a $40 limit on it, so I just have to come up with stuff for Aner and Joe that's couple-related. She suggested movie tickets...maybe I'll get those and something else...
