Woo, the vacation was fun! I got back yesterday, but it was late so I didn't get a chance on the computer until now. The ride was okay, and I brought my manga of Fruits Basket along and Amber read one, too. By the time the trip was over, she had read 3 of them, and today she came by to pick up the anime dvds of the show. Yay, I got her hooked! :D Oh, and the weirdest thing happened on the drive...it was already pitch black out and we were going around 60 across the river by the bluffs when out of nowhere, a ginormous owl flies out and lands right in front of the car. WHAM! My sister screamed and spilled her coffee, which was kind of funny, but it was sad because the thing was HUGE. I mean, it landed and looked RIGHT into the headlights...freaky. O.O

Amber, Becky and I took out the canoe the next day on the river and we poked around some islands. I found a freshly dead carp and picked it up, so my sister took a picture and told everyone I caught it with my bare hands, lol. After that we went to Buena Vista, which is a look out on top of a bluff that overlooks the river and Minnesota. We went to an ice cream shop next and stood on a bridge over the railroad tracks and a train went under us. He waved at us, but then blew the horn right below us and blew our ears out. Yay!

My aunt came over and we had lots of fun with her, and we played Blurt right before we left. Oh, and Tuesday night we stayed up and I made Amber watch Full Metal Alchemist and InuYasha, but she was reading the Fruits Basket books the whole time! I still can't believe she read them...

Today I saw Johann at Kohl's, and I got 2 pairs of shoes, a bazillion shirts, a pair of pants, and a new bedset. FREAKING AWESOME!! I also attempted to clean my room but...yeah that was a waste of time. XD Okay me so hungy now...pizza!
