Summer is going by so fast, and I have done NOTHING. I'm still waiting for the highlight, which will probably be going up north in a couple weeks. Yay, fun! I FINALLY got my mom to go see Pirates yesterday, so that took up a few hours. I couldn't get a clear answer out of her as to what she thought about it, but whatever. That makes...4 times I've seen it! HUZZAH!!! And Johnny is as sexy as ever XDAfter the movie I went to Becky's apartment. We did the usual- drank some tea, ate some cookies, drew retarded pictures, watched cartoons. The usual. Oh, but she did tell me a crazy story about her friend Kelly. She said she usually doesn't believe this kind of stuff, but Kelly was in tears because she was so scared when she told Becky this story. Ooohh....fun! So here's the scoop...So when Kelly was in highschool, she babysat for this family down the street and they had a big house. They went out of town and asked her to stay there and watch the house for them, so of course she invites her friend and their boyfriends. Her friend brought a ouija board and they were messing around with it downstairs. At first they were having fun and asking it random stuff, but then they asked if there was anyone there and it said "yes". So then they asked how old it was and it was like "seven". By then they were creeped out and Kelly thought the guys were moving it on purpose, but then they started getting mad and told her to stop moving. So then they kept asking it questions and finally they asked where it was, and it said "upstairs", and all four of them heard footsteps coming from upstairs. They said they kicked the ouija board across the room and they all ran out of the house screaming and ran down the street to Denny's (lol why do all teens love Denny's???) and stayed there for hours because they were too scared to go back. I thought it was hilarious, but obviously Kelly didn't. I don't know what to think about that, though...I mean, our religion is very serious about messing around with things like that; we don't believe in human spirits because when you die, you go to heaven or hell and that's it. But the Bible does say that demons are everywhere and there's a constant spiritual war going on around us that we're unaware of. I asked my mom about ouija boards and she says you're talking to demons when you do that. I don't think you can talk to the devil because he's not omnipresent, so he can't be everywhere, but demons are everywhere. And I don't mean demons are these freaky monsters or anything; they're exactly what they say they are in the Bible; fallen angels who just do bad stuff. My mom always scared my sisters when they were young; they'd be like "there are ghosts in the house!" and my mom would say, "There's no such thing as ghosts; just demons pretending to be ghosts." Lmfao!!! Nice comfort, Mom!Seriously though; lots of people who've stayed at our house multiple times have heard things. Everyone in my family has heard or seen something, including me. OH BOY STORY TIME!!Here's my one story: When I was younger, my sister Aner always came home drunk because she used to party with her friends, so she'd wake me up when she stumbled up the steps every night. I heard these really loud footsteps coming up the stairs one night and I thought it was her. But the footsteps slowly came to the top of the stairs, then stopped. Then all of a sudden there was this really loud crashing sound like whoever had just come up the steps had just fallen all the way back down. It kept going on a bunch of times and I was sooo scared I was crying. But eventually it stopped and I fell asleep, so when I woke up I thought I was dreaming, but when I went down the steps, all the pots and pans that hang up in the hallway were laying on the floor at the bottom. O.O
Becky has a lot of stories. One time, she always pretended to be sleeping so she wouldn't have to go to church, so one day while my dad was working in the barn she turned the radio up really loud and was singing along after everyone else left. She kept thinking she heard something, so she'd turn it down and listen, but there was nothing there so she'd go back to singing along. But finally she was singing really loud and she said she heard someone upstairs yell "SHUT UP!!!". She was so scared she ran out to the barn and stayed with my dad until my mom and sisters came home from church. Lol! The scariest story EVER (at least to me) is this one, though...it was one my dad told so it's kind of hard not to believe it because he's not the type to play tricks or make up stuff like this. So back when we had cows and my sisters were litte, my dad saw a little girl in a dress out in the barn. He went out there and was like "what are you doinng out here?" because he thought it was one of my sisters. He said she walked off and he followed her, but there was no one there. So he came back to the house and was like "What the hell do you want?" to my sisters and asked why they were in the barn. But none of them had gone to the barn; they were all in the house with my mom the whole time. CREEEEPY!!Since you probably don't believe us, here's one from an outsider: Becky's used to be friends with this girl, Theresa. One day they came home really late and there was a light in one of the windows, but they didn't think anything of it. The next day Theresa asked Becky why our dad was standing in the one window watching her leave. She said it was really creepy because he was just standing there, but that's the room that's filled with so much junk that you have to literally climb over a dresser to get close to the window, and there's no light in there anymore. Yikes!
Okay, after all these creepy stories, here's a more comical one. One night Becky came home really late and snuck in the house, back when she was in highschool. I was around...5? Anywho, I was sleeping in her bed and Aner and Libby were sleeping on a mattress on the floor because it was so hot upstairs. Becky got in the bed and heard loud steps coming up the back stairs and she thought it was our dad coming to yell at her because she was out so late. She covered up with the sheet (it was so hot, we weren't using blankets) and she heard the door open and hit the wall. She was really scared because she thought dad was going to kill her or something. So anyways, she hears the steps come to the bed and stop, and she saw the shadow of the person go in front of the window. Then all of a sudden, it feels like the person grabs the bed and starts shaking it, so she flips the sheet down and there's no one there. So...I had a bedwetting problem when I was 5-6 years old, so I wet the bed around this time, but Becky was so scared she never moved and laid in it all night. LMFAO!!! When she told this story again last night I laughed and laughed. LOL that's freaking hilarious!
So you see...this stuff isn't made up because everyone's got a story. Even my Aunt Janet and cousins have stories that scared them so much that they won't spend the night here anymore. LOL!!! Am I the only one who thinks this is funny? Anywho, I wrote too much.
